Role and Responsibilities

General

  • Develop an effective Accounting Working Papers.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to staff in conducting their jobs effectively.
  • Identifying, researching and helping to resolve all complex Accounting and business issues.
  • Perform related work as assigned by Accounting Manager.

Accounting Consultancy and Advisory

Advising clients with clarity in areas of expertise such as:
  • Supervise the provision service of high-quality bookkeeping to all clients
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on accounting assignment
  • Review monthly bookkeeping prepared by accounting associate, senior and make recommendations regarding accuracy and other effective method in bookkeeping (equivalent to 90% of his/her assignment)
  • Bookkeeping services for his/her accounting clients (equivalent to 10% of his/her assignment)
  • Assist Tax Manager in preparing the annual tax return for his/her accounting assignment as per requested by Tax Manager
  • Assist Accounting Manager in conducting accounting review (one off – service) as requested by client
  • Meeting with client/ prospective client for the consultation services
  • Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolveaccounting-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
  • Assist manager on proposals and business development calls
  • Assist in development and implementation of administrative procedures and review established practices to ensure service excellence
  • Contribute to the implementation of technological improvements by assisting in the development, implementation and enhancement of accounting related software and systems
  • Assist the Manager with resolution of client queries
  • Maintain confidentiality of client’s information
  • Undertake accounting related projects as required by the Manager
  • Liaising with third party professionals including solicitors, other accountant, tax advisers and independent financial advisers
  • Liaising with Tax auditor in responding to the Data prepared and submitted to tax authority.
Qualification and Education Requirements
  • University degree in accounting, finance or audit
  • Graduated or almost graduated CPA is preferred
  • Good communication and written English skills required.
  • A team player with strong inter-personal skills.
  • Internationally mobile and able to travel.
  • Fluency in English both written and oral is essential.
